Monster Hunter USA Championship is back for the first time in
5 years in the US!

Teams of 2 Hunters will compete together to take down the target monsters with the fastest times!

Top 6 teams will advance to the finals to compete for the title of the fastest Hunters!

Location of event

Location: San Diego, California
Qualifier Rounds: Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina,
Friday, October 17, 2025 9:00 AM ~ 12:00 PM PT.
Players must check-in on site between 8:00 AM ~ 9:00 AM PT to be eligible for participation.
Finals: Capcom booth stage within TwitchCon (San Diego Convention Center).
Top 6 ranking teams from Qualifier Round will be provided with a badge code to access TwitchCon for the Final Round.

Quest details

The tournament will consist of two separate quests; a Qualifier Quest and a Finals Quest.
Similar to Challenge Quests, both quests will have restrictions for the type of weapons that can be used.

Conditions: HR 16 or higher

During the availability period of the Qualifier and Finals quests, there is an issue with certain weapon types that is scheduled to be fixed in Title Update 3, planned for release at the end of September.
*The game build that will be used in the tournament will have these issues fixed.

Prizes

All participants will receive a Monster Hunter Wilds goodie bag!
Top 6 teams will get a Monster Hunter Wilds Baby Seikret Plush and Rathalos hoodie. Top 3 teams will also receive trophies based on placement!

Tournament details

An entrance fee of $19.98 per team (includes taxes and fees) will be charged for participating in the tournament.
Entry slots are limited and available on a first-come first-served basis and are non-transferable or refundable.

The Monster Hunter Wilds USA Championship will be conducted using standardized hardware provided by Capcom (PlayStation 5 systems; DualSense controllers (connected via USB-C) and identical software (custom Monster Hunter Wilds development build; graphics options set to “Prioritize Framerate” with the Frame Rate Limit set to "60 fps (capped)"; language set to “English”; UI object size set to “default”).

The Monster Hunter Wilds USA Championship is open to all individuals aged 18 years or older as of October 17, 2025.
