We have identified some issues listed below and are currently considering addressing these issues in a future update. *The release date is yet to be determined. *Please note, individual responses will not be provided for tickets submitted regarding the issues listed below.



Some known issues as of October 22, 2025:



<ul>
<li>The text for the Cosmetic DLC Pass is not displayed correctly in the Claim Content menu at the Support Desk. (PS5 only)</li>



<li>When accepting a quest in online lobbies after toggling the crossplay settings to Enable, an error stating that the quest has ended will be displayed, preventing players to join any sessions. *This issue will be resolved by restarting the game app.</li>



<li>The game may crash when selecting some Palico armor to forge it at the Smithy. (Steam only)</li>
</ul>



Issues planned to be addressed in Ver.1.030.02.00:



<ul>
<li>Quests targeting both Lagiacrus and Uth Duna during the Plenty season at the Scarlet Forest cannot be created.</li>



<li>Some of 9★ Tempered Uth Duna's hide is harder than intended.</li>



<li>Even after successfully defeating a Nerscylla Clone generated by Omega Planetes during the quest, it may still power up as if players have failed to defeat the clone.</li>



<li>Omega Planetes' Rocket Punch cannot be destroyed with a gunlance's shelling attack.</li>



<li>A Nerscylla Clone does not spawn when Omega Planetes starts preparing for Delta Attack under certain conditions, making it impossible to deal any damage to Omega Planetes.</li>
</ul>



Issues addressed in Ver.1.030.01.00:



<ul>
<li>Some skill effects, such as the Agitator skill, wear off when drawing Omega Planetes’s enmity.</li>



<li>When attacking while mounted on Omega Planetes under certain conditions, Omega Planetes or the Seikret does not move to a new area, making it impossible to slay the target in some instances.</li>



<li>Lagiacrus unintentionally appears at Wounded Hollow even when it has not been slayed during game progression.</li>



<li>Graphical issues with Omega Planetes’s Rocket Punch where the rocket does not disappear on some occasions.</li>



<li>When using the Filter Icons option, Cactuar and some endemic life that have not appeared in the locale are unintentionally shown in the list on some occasions.</li>



<li>When trying to apply a coating while charging with a bow, the coating is not applied in some occasions.</li>
</ul>



*You must close the game to apply the fix. Please ensure you restart the game after updating to Ver.1.030.01.00. (This can be confirmed at the title screen.)

Currently known issues

By becoming Hunter Friends, you can enjoy multiplayer with users on other platforms. Note: You must progress through the story up to a certain point to unlock multiplayer features.



How to play multiplayer with your Hunter Friend:



<ol>
<li>Become Hunter Friends with the player you wish to play with.</li>
</ol>



<ul>
<li>Each player’s Hunter ID can be checked from their Hunter Profile or when selecting your saved data.</li>



<li>To send a friend request, go to Start Menu &gt; Communication &gt; Member List &gt; Hunter ID Search. Then, enter the player’s Hunter ID, select the hunter you wish to send a Hunter Friend request, and choose Send Friend Request.</li>



<li>To accept a friend request, go to Start Menu &gt; Communication &gt; Invite Notification List &gt; Hunter Friend Requests.</li>
</ul>



2.Join the same lobby as your Hunter Friend To join the same lobby, open the Change Lobby Menu at the Quest Counter or when selecting your save data. Then, go to Select Lobby &gt; Lobby Search &gt; Hunter Friend Search, and select your Hunter Friend from the list.



*You can also use private lobbies and squad lobbies to play with your Hunter Friends.



<ol start="3">
<li>Form a Link Party with your Hunter Friends *When beginning a quest while joining a Link Party, other Link Members will automatically receive quest invitations, allowing them to join your quest as you progress through the story.</li>
</ol>



<ul>
<li>To send out a Link Party invitation, go to Start Menu &gt; Communication &gt; Link Party &gt; Invite to Link party. Then, select the hunter you wish to send a Link Party invitation to.</li>



<li>To receive and accept a Link Party invitation, go to Start Menu &gt; Communication &gt; Invitation List &gt; Link Party Invitation.</li>
</ul>



*You can also form a Link Party with your friends in the platform’s friend list.



<ul>
<li>To send out a Link Party invitation, go to Start Menu &gt; Invite a Friend.</li>



<li>To accept or decline a Link Party invitation during gameplay, choose “Join with current saved data”, “Join with different save data”, or “Do not join”.</li>



<li>If you receive and accept a Link Party invitation when you are not playing Monster Hunter Wilds, the game will launch, and you can join the Link Party after selecting your save data.</li>
</ul>



Additional Information: By setting up an Environment Link, you can invite your Link Members to your environment and enjoy exploring together.

<li>To send out an Environment Link invitation, go to Start Menu &gt; Communication &gt; Link Party &gt; Invite All to Environment Link.</li>



<li>To accept an Environment Link invitation, go to Start Menu &gt; Communication &gt; Invite Notification List &gt; Environment Link Invitations.</li>

How can I play multiplayer with my friends?

To obtain the bonus content, talk to the Support Desk in-game and select “I’d like to request support.” *The “Support Desk” character can be found at the Base Camps in each locale.



*Hunter Layered Armor Set: Guild Knight is sent directly to your tent and do not have to be retrieved from the Support Desk. Layered Armor can be changed from the Equipment Appearance menu in your tent.

Bonus Content

I cannot receive/find my limited bonus content (Hunter Layered Armor Set: Guild Knight and Talisman: Hope Charm).

Some armor may be hidden due to the filter option which can be found at the top of the Forge/Upgrade Armor list. Try changing the filter to "Show All" and check whether the armor appears in the list.



If the armor still does not appear, try changing the sort option below the filter to "Default" and check again.

The new armor does not appear in the forge list despite meeting the requirements to unlock it at the Smithy.

Certain skills can cause the hunter's status to decrease.

A defense down icon does not disappear.

A feature has been added with the Ver.1.021.00.00 update, which allows players to hide/show specific ammo and coatings in the Ammo/Coatings Bar. To toggle the "Show/Hide Ammo (Coatings)" option at the Ammo/Coatings Pouch menu, go to Start Menu &gt; Items &amp; Equipment &gt; Check Item Pouch, or enter a tent and go to Item Menu &gt; Transfer Items.



A marker will be displayed on the upper right corner of each ammo/coating icon if it is hidden, so please check their visibilitiy status if you cannot find an ammo or coating.

Some ammo and coatings do not appear in the Ammo/Coatings Bar.

In order to accept an event quest, players need to hunt/slay the same target monster of the same rank that appears during the story progression. If you are unable to accept the event quest, please try progressing through your main missions.

An event quest cannot be accepted even though the necessary conditions are met.

If a Cosmetic DLC Pack is released after you have purchased the Cosmetic DLC Pass including the pack, you must perform the following procedures in order to apply the content to the game.



PlayStation 5: Highlight Monster Hunter Wilds on the Home screen, scroll to the bottom of the page until you reach the Add-Ons section, and select View All Add-Ons. Then, download the content displayed as “Free”.



Xbox Series X|S: Highlight Monster Hunter Wilds on the Home screen, press the Menu button on your controller, and select Manage Game &amp; Add-ons. Then, select Monster Hunter Wilds and download the content that is not installed.



Steam: The content will automatically be installed after the update. *If the content is not installed after the game has been updated, please try restarting the game.

I purchased the Cosmetic DLC Pass, but I cannot find the content in the Cosmetic DLC Pack made available by a title update.

If your hunter or Palico is wearing a full armor set, the Display Armor option will be grayed out with the following message displayed: This option cannot be used while wearing a full armor set. To display your armor, please ensure the full armor set is removed from both your hunter and Palico. *The full armor set must also be removed from the Palico in order to use the Display Armor option for the hunter.

Armor cannot be displayed in the Display Options menu when editing the appearance of the hunter and Palico.

Quest participation and Time Rank rewards will be distributed after rankings are finalized, which are expected to happen approximately two weeks after a quest has ended, and can be obtained from Claim Content at the Support Desk. Please note, we are unable to provide individual guidance regarding when these rewards will become available.



Please also note that to be eligible for the rewards, players must register their Completion Time on their saved data to the rankings on the Expedition Record Board. In order to register your Completion Time, you must start the quest online and upload the data after completing the quest.



You can check your best recorded time that has been uploaded to the server from the bottom of the Rankings screen for each quest. To reach this screen, go to the Expedition Record Board at the Grand Hub, select Rankings, and then select a quest type. *To check the rankings for previous quests, switch to the “Past Results” tab and then select a quest. *If other hunters or Support Hunters participated in the quest, switch to the tab with the corresponding party size after opening the rankings for a quest.



If you are unable to confirm your best recorded time at this screen, this indicates that it has not been registered, which may be caused by the following reasons:



<ul>
<li>Data upload has failed due to a network error.</li>



<li>The event period ended before the quest was completed.</li>



<li>The quest was played while the game was undergoing maintenance.</li>



<li>A quest member has performed prohibited activities, and the Completion Time was removed from the Rankings.</li>
</ul>



Please make sure you register your data to the rankings before the end of the event period, as you will no longer be able to do so after the valid time period, regardless of the circumstances.
